Just been looking at another favourite site allearsnet.com and they have photos of newly remodelled rooms that are now suites. They really do look roomy and look like the good folks at Disney have turned two rooms into a family size suite, which let's face it is great news for those of us who need a little quiet time on returning from the parks!!Have any of you taken a look at them yet? It could make a stay alot more enjoyable for everyone, even with the price increase and it's about time they competed with the likes of the SpringHill Suites etc.Wifey :paw: :paw: :cat:

I think these suites are a great idea (and dare I say it?) long overdue!

Has it defintely been confirmed it's happening? I have seen the model rooms but have WDW actually confirmed?

Thank you for posting wifey :)

Sounds great. Are these rooms at specific resorts?
I'm not 100% sure but I think they will only be available at the All-Stars.

Edit - Here is a link to the photo's if anyone is interested :)

I have heard All Star Music may be partly converted (or possibly all of it?) or even the side of Pop Century which is currently not completed (is that called the Vintage years? I'm not certain). As with all rumours though I have no idea if they are right or otherwise ;)

Those suites look great :) Wonder what the price will be like?

Good question Joh. I had guessed they would be in the region of the price of 2 rooms at a value now, but that is purely based on the space they occupy so I am probably not right :teeth:

Thanks for the photos Frances. I can't decide if I like the look of them or not :confused3

not sure i like it either...i think the price will convince me one way or the other....

I like the idea of suites but I DEFINATELY do not like the look (according to the photos I viewed on the other website). :worried:

The suite photos are only one type of three suites currently being considered for further use . It would be really interesting to see the other two and compare them, even if they only have intended to use them at the Value Resorts it could be a very viable option for many families if the pricing structure were right.Lets's face it most folks need a lottery win to stay peak season with their kids at a Disney hotel and then the "add on features" for the park tickets are quite pricey too, but where else do you get that Disney magical holiday?!! ;)

Since there are 5 of us I'll watch this with interest. Thanks for posting :)

I'm not sure about the look of these myself, but I guess the size will suit lots of families. We always had 2 rooms anyway when we took the children, so I don't think it would have made much difference to us.

Another one watching with interest. The extra space and privacy would be great ::yes::
