Up on the Roof

I remember when my cousin's class did that-way back in 1974-but it was a VW Beetle!

DH's class somehow took down a beer billboard and put it up on their school roof - much like that one ( alower roof over the entrance). Then at graduation, each one handed the principal a beer cap as he gave them the diploma. :dance3:

:wizard:

"Back in the Day" as my DS would say... :lmao:

Someone had an uncle that owned a junk yard, so they all went and picked up junkyard toilets and placed them all over the roofs near the quad area. Needless to say...the TP was flyin' that day :rotfl2:

No one got in trouble, as they all promised to clean everything up at the end of the day.

WAY FUNNY though!! :thumbsup2

Our class...back in the day (1973) put a VW Beetle in the main lobby of the school!!! Gotta love kids!!! :rotfl:

my high school had its own planetarium, so th senior tradition was to paint the dome. as far as I know, no one ever brought anything up to the roof with them...

This reminds me of our Engineering school at UBC. They hung a VW Bug of the Golden Gate Bridge. Talk about an international incident! They have a habit of putting the bugs somewhere highly visible each year. Thankfully they have stayed local the last few years.

jeez, our school is boring. LOL. This year, the seniors (well it was only a few of them) decided that they would only pull a prank on 1 student, who was also a senior *thwap head*. They were presenting senior projects and the rest of the school only had half days. I think it was 3 or 4 seniors took all 4 tires off the car of another senior while he was presenting. They made a scavenger hunt and hid the wheels throughout the town. One was at the local park. They were also going to do a prank on the band director, but that one was boring too. I don't know if they ever went through with either of those. LOL.

Our class somehow got one of those giant monkeys they put on the roofs of car dealers and put it on the roof of the science building and blew it up at break. It was so great!

i did see the eposode of "high school pranks" on MTV where these kids got the idea from.

that was the first thing i thought of when i saw the picture.

Our class put a Bob's Big Boy up on the roof! :cool1:
Does that "age" me?!

The senior prank at my high school was to take all the animal statues from Putt-Putt and put them in the hallways and courtyards...Our mascot was a Lion so of course the Lion statues were placed in the Senior Hallway where our lockers were. :teeth:

I just thought of one that they did at our school a few years ago.

They got pigs (don't ask me where or who came up with this idea) and released them in the school. The brilliant part was they named them 1, 2, and 4. Well the captured 3 pigs, 1, 2, and 4, but just could not find pig 3. LOL. They spent a LONG time looking for that darn pig 3. LOL.

The Senior's at my daughter's high school "planted" plastic forks all over the front lawn! :lmao:

Gee - my older DS's class wasn't very imaginative, but safe: there is a parking lot just for Seniors. All (well, most) of the Seniors got there early and took all the on-street parking (this HS is near downtown - limited parking). Heh - administration got back at them by letting underclassmen park in the Senior Lot - so that one back-fired!! I can't remember is younger DS's class did anything.

I work at a HS - our last day is tomorrow and I'm not aware of any Senior Pranks - I hope we get through tomorrow! (one year they "glued" all the door locks - that one was BAD!)

Hey, my coworker did the same thing when he graduated back in '78. :teeth:

He still has the write-up about it.

We did that in High School, too!

We also got over 1000 pink flamingoes and put them on the front lawn of the school as well.

Someone's aprent worked for the local small-town newspaper and they were talked into running a real-estate ad w/the school for sale. The way they described it was hysterical -- something like Mansion for sale -- 92 rooms, 6 large bathrooms, fully equipped work out room (gym), in-ground swimming pool, etc. Of course, someone inc. the photo of the school w/a big FOR SALE sign in front of it. Too funny!!!!

The seniors at my daughter's school filled a long hallway with baloons. The hallway was full from end to end and about five feet deep. It took them all night to inflate the baloons, and I think that was the best part of the prank. It was one last bonding experience for them before they all went their different ways.
