We look at SWA prices almost daily,,, more like weekly :thumbsup2 We fly St. Louis (STL) to Orlando (MCO) anytime its cheap. Shoot we have made vacations around cheap airfair. :cool1:

We are DCL bound for the annual Christmas getaway. We are currently booked with $80 going and $212 coming home. Now its up to $220 going and 270 coming back... :scared1:

Something tells me they're going to keep going up. We're headed to Las Vegas in about three weeks from MCO. Booked airfare a week and a half ago at $134 each way. Our flights are now $300 each way.

Same thing happened to me on Airtran for the weekend of T-giving, round trip the following weekend. I booked my flight three months ago at $172.00 round trip from BWI to MCO. I checked it last week and it is now $354.00 round trip. Phew.

I dare say, it is the old supply and demand - once the supply goes down and the demand goes up, prices are bound to go up as well.

I love Southwest but they are getting a little high I can fly to LA from Providence cheaper then flying to Orlando :confused3:confused3

But don't forget to factor in the cost of luggage. On Southwest it's free, but on the other airlines, you'll have to pay.

We fly out of STL too and are in the same boat. Dec. 12 to
Orlando $82 :thumbsup2 I havn't booked the leg back on Dec. 19 yet.

Yes just last week I found the price from Las Vegas to Orlando RT for two would be 437 today it came to 543 dang. I have to wait one more week before I can buy. I hope they don't go up much more by then?

We were that way forever.. Had our flights to, but nothing coming home. Finally the price started jumping up $5 at a time. I made the daddy decision and told mommy to book it...:surfweb: We will see if I was right.
