Wow - NYE already sold out?!

I'm running into this issue booking a stay for a theoretical early december weekend. It says no availability for 2 nights, but plenty if I put in a longer block of time. Weekend stays aren't allowed?

Sure they are. However, the front line revenue management system tries to stop orphaned rooms for less desirable nights. They would rather wait for someone to book say a Saturday to Saturday trip than to have someone book a Saturday and Sunday night trip and have that room sit empty Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday night because those nights are not as desirable. As others have suggested in this thread, this issue may be overridden by Guest Services. They have the power to do it, but sometimes they say no.

I'm sure until the time gets closer, they will implement minimum night stays.
