Wow! Long time since I’ve been on here!!!

So it’s been five years since our last trip and it will be six if we actually get to go next year.... I haven’t had much time to get onto the Disboards as much as I used to be able to.... and wow! so much has happened! Lots of talk about refurbs, park changes, policy changes etc.

It’s nice to get up to speed on all of it.

We are having a little trouble figuring out where to book next visit. DD is going to be 13 for this trip.... we’ve done ASMO and ASMU on our previous visits and really liked them but, have been thinking since last visit about trying CSR and I’m wondering if the new tower is going to make the resort more busy, mostly the pools because they didn’t add another pool right? We are digging the room refurbs for the values and CSR too so it’s a tough decision!

What other big changes happened since 2014...? Thanks fellow Disboard fans!

Well, you have a few options. Since you like the value renovations, you can stay value. If you like the values, but are interested in CSR if it’s not crowded, you could book a split stay with part of the trip (first part recommended) at a value and part at CSR to see if you like it. Or, you can just jump in and risk the unknown at CSR (sometimes staying someplace new can be very exciting). Only you know which option works best for you.

Personally, I don’t like split stays, but in your case it might be the best option as there is always the chance you won’t like the value renovation as much in person or your concerns about pool crowding at CSR could be correct. In either case, you wouldn’t be tied to one resort for your entire stay. And if you love both of them, then you have two good options for future trips.
