WOW! live from SSR....

we got to SSR around 1p today and our 2BR lockoff was ready and in fact my DH's business partner had already been in the room for 3 hrs. It's really lovely! Everything is in good shape and in good working order so far. We are in congress park with a lovely DTD view. I knew that i would like it here when i got a chance to stay here. I think i will be one of those people who like something about every DVC resort. They are all charming in their own way. We went to the high springs pool and it was a hit with my boys. We aren't going to any parks this trip since it is pleasure for me and work/pleasure for my DH and his partner. The boys and i will be hitting the pools and DTD alot while they are playing with the big trucks. There is a big towing industry show/convention here this weekend so they get to play and do business at the same time.

My only complaint and it's minor in my eyes is that there isn't an internal bus through the resort like at OKW. Took waiting for 30 mins and asking a couple of drivers before we figured out how to get to the springs section and back. Live and learn. . I'm ready for bed with my glass of wine on the balcony. What a way to wind down from the day.

To get to the Springs from Congress Park bus stop, hop on any park bus and it will stop next at the Springs.

To get back you would have to walk, or if you see an empty bell cart they will give you a ride.

Congress Park, DTD view is our favorite area of SSR, we've requested it 3 times and have been fortunate to get it each time! The view is lovely during the day but even better at night! Do try the Turf Club, it's one of the best resort restaurants IMO!

As soon as I read, playing with the big trucks I knew you all must be there for the tow show. My DH would like to go one year too, but this isn't the year since I'm expecting in two weeks. He goes to the show in September in Ohio. The last two years we've went too...it's been at the Great Wolf Lodge in Mason. Have a great trip!
