I feel like I haven't been here in ages! Life sure gets away from you sometimes hey!

we're plainning a trip this summer down the west coast to San Fransisco, Anaheim, and San Diego for 18 wonderful days. We're driving down with our girls (will be 9 and 6 at the time of travel) so I decided to pop onto the dis to see what the experts have to say!

The disneyland boards are laid out so different than the wdw ones....not as easy to navigate and since search is down I will have to take a look another day.

Just thought I'd pop in and say Hi! to all my canadian dis friends and shout GO CANADA GO! as we're demolishing germany as I type!

If anyone has any input for me please share away! Have a great night!

we did that trip for our honeymoon from vancouver island
I really liked the big sur area
we went down the I-5 and back the coast high way it was very pretty

I read the UK and the Canada boards because, well I'm stuck at home for awhile. Lots of trip reports on the California and west trip report boards. I'm in northern/central CA. I'm a huge fan of going I-5 to get to DL and San Diego and then up the coast on the way back. That way, you aren't bummed going home. We loved Carmel, walked through the town and saw dolphins in the ocean, Monterey with the aquarium, Pismo Beach where you can drive on the beach. I live 80 minutes from San Francisco and have never ridden the cable cars. That is a goal for me. Going down Lombard Street, eating the sour dough bread, Ghiridelli chocolate, driving through the middle of a tree at the Redwoods. I'm not a museum person so someone else would have to give hints on that.

I did the same trip years ago from Vancouver...took the coast highway down and came home the quickest way......made stops along the way, spent 5 days in LA/Disney then went to San Diego for a few days...we took about 19 days and loved it..............
