We are planning our first spring break trip for April 2008:banana: We were thinking of maybe staying at the Swan/Dolphin hotels. When I just checked rates, it came back at $380 a night for a regular room. Is this normal? Do they typically offer any discounts around that time of year? :confused3

If this is what you guys paid this year, then we will probably end up at Coronado Springs. I was hoping the S/D was around $220 or so. But $380 is a little out of my budget. :sad1:

Hi! I don't think that discounts are released for 2008 until the end of 2007. I believe that the 2007 discounts came out in November 2006. During Peak Season, there definitely were discounts this year for AAA, AARP, AP, Entertainment Book (199.50-299.50 depending on view); slightly deeper discounts for Teacher/Nurse/Military/Govt discounts. I found this info by under the "Theme Park Attractions and Strategies" section of the DisBoards posted by WebMaster Bob. You may be able to book a room, pay the current one night's deposit & then apply the discount when it is released. Good luck!
