WOW! Is everyone in a hurry for the holidays this year?

I don't remember in past years so many post about shopping, wrapping, gift giving, decorating this early!
I must say I am really looking forward to this holiday season. I guess after everything that happened last year it makes me appreciate my family and what I have and can do.
Plus my kids are so into it this year I am starting to really feel their magic.

I'm not in a hurry for it, but because Thanksgiving is so late this year, it just turns right around into Christmas quickly.

I remember seeing posts about the holiday season this early last year. I don't mind it. I'm not in a hurry though.

I go crazy when people post on August 1 that the summer is over. LOL!!

I like it when people start posting about Spring nice and early though.

Yes. We've only got 51 days until Christmas, you know.

Yes, I love Christmas time. Even though it's extremely busy. I enjoy my home being decorated, the smells of baking and going out to see everything all decorated in town. Goes right along with first snow fall...but then by Feb/Mar....YUCK! Although my family took up skiing last year, so attitudes might be a little different this year!! I just hate taking everything down...the house always looks so bare afterwards.

I finished up my outside decorations yesterday, and I'm heading over to Yankee Candle to pick up some Holiday Tarts this afternoon. I'll finish up the inside of my house sometime this week. The sooner the Holidays are over, the sooner spring gets here!

I seem to be very excited this year!! We have even started playing a little Christmas music lol!

I LOVE CHRISTMAS its my favorite tyme of the year...........Everyone is a little a nicer to everyone (except at the malls) everyone decorates their houses for the holidays the weather gets colder time to snuggle up close in front of the fires.......(well not in Florida).........but you know what I mean......and then the kid comes out in all of us on that special morning when you get to tear open all those perfesctly wrapped packages loving famile members and friends spent hours on end making look just right...........and its all over in a matter of minutes.........all the shopping wrapping fighting for a parking space at the malls.........eating way too much.............but its all worth it...............oh yeah did I mention I love Christmas !!!!!!!!!

I mean - I know that the decorations are out already but I thought they didn't start the music until after Thanksgiving!?!?

I know! It's nuts! It's barely November and you'd think it was December from the way things look. hehe. They've already put a little tree in the little eatery downstairs. Whoa, people, slow down- It's not even Thanksgiving yet! hehe. I don't celebrate Christmas, though, so it doesn't really affect me as much.
