How long is it taking everyone to get their checks? I had an offer last Thursday and got the check on Monday so that was only 2 business days in between. I had another offer on Monday and I am hoping that I will get the check today or at least by tomorrow since I am leaving for WDW on Saturday. It's $100 so I would love to have it in time .

Didn't read the whole thread, so sorry if this is a repeat question. What if I have a diamond ring (five small diamonds in a gold band), will USGB pay for the diamonds and the gold?? I will be getting a quote from someone else first, but just wondering.

Just back from USGB's office - I got $388 for 2 bracelets, 3 chains, 1 ring setting and some random earrings. Not too shabby for stuff I haven't worn in years!

To answer the ? above, a few of my pieces had a small diamond (I'm talking a chip) or non-precious stones in them, and they just weighed it all together.

ETA: The buyer I dealt with told me today's price was $912... I guess that is per ounce?

I called USGB and they confirmed that they received my package at 9am. Said I should get a call some time tomorrow!!! Then they called me at 6:20 to tell me that the offer was $441!!!!!!! The local jeweler offered me $300!!! So glad I finally sent it in. Hope the check is coming fast because I wanted to add the dining plan onto our trip and this pays for half and the profit sharing check my husband receives tomorrow more than covers the other half!!! I hope my family is ready to eat!!!

USGB: Has anyone had luck with them paying you for bigger diamonds than chips? I have a ring that had 5 diamonds in it and i don't really want to take it apart. Did you just tell them in the chat, or beforehand that you wanted to be paid for the diamonds as well??? I will be calling them on monday, thanks for the advice everyone.
