OK, so if I am understanding you all correctly, nobody has had a problem with either Gold Fellow or US Gold Buyers right?

US Gold Buyers gave me a higher quote but the Gold Fellow people seem a little more professional. Does that make sense?

I have 23.15 dwt of 14K. Gold Fellow offered $391 (that was with the extra 10% for DIS'ers) and US Gold offered $594.95. Both based on today's quotes, which of course could change.

Any negatvies on either of these places?

I booked a gold party. I get 10% of whatever is brought in. I did sell my gold today, too. Couldn't wait for the party. Hey, I wanted new cookware and had to have it today. What can I say? I got $597 for the items minus one charm. Turns out it wasn't real. Cheapskate boyfriend. Anyway, I'm not sure I did as well as some of you, but it's still not a bad haul for things that I had and no longer wanted.

Fed Ex shows they received my stuff this morning. Wonder how long it takes before you hear something about a quote? Is the quote via email or phone call? Used UsGold Buyers.

I sent mine to Goldfellow and they got my package this morning. I am DYING to know what the value will be. I didn't weigh it before I sent it

I did take pictures but that doesn't help.

My dh just came back from usgoldbuyers (since he works in nyc why not send him ) I had sent him with a few pieces of jewerly he said thank god he went when he did about 11 am because by the time he left
the waiting room was filled with people. He also found out the good morning america was on their way to do a report about the gold, cool!!

anyway he thought this place would be really sleazy however it really wasn't. you go into the lobby in line and when the door opens you go in and "LOCK THE door behind you" at this point there is bullet proof glass and you place your gold into this slot and the person on the other side
takes it and checks it over, a few of my pieces were gold filled oh well so no $$ for them. They paid my dh in cash , way cool on this one. all in all my dh gave them a few old broken necklaces (2) 3 bracletes 3 rings missing stones. $1007.00 he also brought some of my mom's stuff in too (had her clean out her jewerly box yesterday and take out what she never uses or broken pieces) $1,173.00 and my dd who is 14 yrs old $82.80 she's bumbed oh well she's still young lol.

a funny story though....the clerk asked my husband how did you hear about us because they were written up in the ny stock exchange and my dh said ""your not going to believe this but you know disney world right??? well there is this message board and a lot of these people are going crazy talking about gold and your place keeps coming up!!!"" He laughed and thought it was great. He also told my husband that there mail order is going crazy right now (wonder why dis friends lol ) and they have 20 people working crazy hours gettting it done and they usually will go through it in 48 hrs.

I too sent my package off to Goldfellow yesterday. They received it today and are sending me back what was not gold. My check is being sent out today, I think, maybe Monday. I am very please considering I did not have much to sell.

I took mine to Kinko's to be sent to US Gold Buyers today. I used the info you all gave me on here so Thanks Everyone. My stuff weighed 25.8 dwt. or 40.0 grams. Most was 10K but some was 14K. I cannot figure out how much I should get but I am hoping for at least $500. I have lots more gold from my mothers estate items but I am not for sure what is real gold and what is gold filled. Thanks to original poster. Look what $ she has made for our next Disney trip! Lisa in Indiana
