I thought I was being smart booking for October 2005 way way ahead........I tried to get a seceret porthole room for 10-22-05 Western 7 day.... None available already!!!

Guess I was not fast enough!!

So I checke the 10-15-05 and 5520 is availabe and so I put it on hold. I can not believe how fast those puppies go....

My family and friends already think that I am crazy

I told them that I am not the only one!! They just don't understand us Disney people!!

We are booked for October 2005 - with the intent of switching to October 2006 when the dates open up....yep, people plan these things far out.

Just wondering, what is the advantage to already being booked if you are planning to move the booking to Oct '06? I am planning to return in Feb of '06, and I am wondering if there is an advatage to our way that I am not aware of.

We booked on board. So we got the discount and the stateroom credit, which will move to our 2006 re-booking.

Im one of those crazy people too! After getting too anxious waiting for the summer of 05 dates to open up, we decided to go with the October 8 Western. We have to take the kids out of school now, but its only 4 days that week.

Oh my goodness! You just made me freak out! *laugh* We have booked for October 15, 2005 and I saw this message and was really surprised because we have friends sailing with us and they managed to get a Secret Porthole room and I thought that was their room assignment. I knew she had paid the deposit, so I was surprised to hear you say that it was available!

Well, a quick check of back e-mails reveled that she is in 5020, not 5520. *laugh*

I started a thread on the cruise meet board for October 15th if you wanna join. I think I am the only one though. *laugh*

We also just booked today with DU for the Feb 20,2005 (Wonder).......this time our 18 yr old DD is going with us.

Yeah, they do go fast. I was lucky enought to get one for April 30, 2005. I booked in Nov of 2003.

I booked while I was visiting my Mom and she looked at me like I was crazy when I told her I was booking a cruise almost a year and a half early. She also couldn't believe how excited I was about it even though it is still so far away. She knows how much fun we had on our last trip and she said, " Tell them to hurry up and build a ship for over here (she lives in So. Cal.) Im ready to get on it!"

Yeah, I am trying to plan around my DD first quarter ending and then she would only miss 3 days of school. It is really hard to plan a year and ahlaf away.
I have been tracking her schedule for this year and last year. Trying to catch a pattern.

I really don't want to give up the SPR I have booked and so even if I have to take her out the whole week I will. She is a good student and will only be in second grade...

You guys are right! LIFE IS TOO SHORT!!!

Vacations are a life experience for a child. Her teacher this past year thought it was great! I just hope the rest of her teachers will be that supportive! I just can not afford to go on Disney in the Summer!! Single mom thing..... I have to plan ahead!
