Wow! GREAT PIN code!!!

Got a PIN code this morning.

Does anyone have any example rates for Deluxe Resorts beyond $139 @ WL or AKL? Did anyone try to book the BW or YC/BC with this PIN?

This is just a guess, but $139 is a 42% savings off the value season/standard room rate for both WL and AKL, so based on that, value season/standard room at YC/BC would go for $194.

Just doing the #s quick for our family, two adults and two kids 9 and younger for a 5-night stay at the end of August in a moderate:

Moderate for $89 saves $60/night versus rack rate of $149, so $60*5=$300 savings

Free dining saves $102/night total for a savings of $102*5=$510

For our situation, the free dining still makes more sense by $210. I'm still grateful to get the PIN though.

Just got this wonderful PIN offer in my e-mail. Great. I'm gonna use it for a one night addition to my existing free dining ressie!!! However, upon closer inspection it is to my adult DD at my e-mail address. RATS!!!!

Congrats to those that got it. I would love that code. We have two days of room only before our package starts on Aug 16. I called WDW to see if maybe I had it and they said no. Oh well, maybe there is still hope.

We also have 2 days of room before our package on Aug. 16th. We decided to stay offsite to save money since our park tickets won't be good til the 16th...

I got the email too....the only deluxe offered are WL and AKL and I was unable to book the std room rate at WL for the end of Sept.
the WLV were available but still pricey....
so its not that great if the std rooms are not available...which is what those rates are for.

I am guessing that the FD promo has eaten up lots of the cheaper rooms

so...my first PIN and was unable to use it for our trip.

I got the same code today, wouldn't you know Im going in Nov. Oh well! If I could only share that darn thing. I have been getting them left and right.
Know call me crazy, but my DH and I and 2 kids have been going for 5yrs. We stayed at the Boardwalk and Beach Club for 4 of them, never got a pin. Last year stayed at Coronado (which we luv for the price difference like 2 grand.)we get a pin every other month. Now when I was spending 5,000 a vacation never seen them. Why would they give send me a codes? 1 visit to a Mod. and what to you know, Now if I could get the date right that would be golden.Who knows the rhytm or reason.Where's the buy 4 get 3 free deal.

I got the pin code too and had my AAA agent check on it, since I booked earlier with the free dining plan, said I got a better deal at WL (courtyard) than with the pin code--Go figure!

Yep, arrived in my email this afternoon. For those who are wondering the dates are (for the $59/89/139 code):

8/9/09-8/18/09 and 8/22/09-10/1/09 for Value

8/9/09-10/1/09 for Moderate

8/9/00-8/15/09, 8/21/09-8/23/09, and 8/28/09-10/1/09 for WL and AKL

MIL got this one too. already staying with free dining though, and she isn't coming, so no good to us

I just got the 59/89/139 email this morning. I priced it out myself with a calculator(so it could be totally wrong!!! ) but it looks like it would save us $418 to switch from free dining at Ft Wild cabins to the $89/night. Crossing my fingers I'm right! Waiting for our TA to email me back

Also to add on: the only thing I have used the email addy I got the pin code sent to was when we booked our vacation back in 2003, I've been getting pin codes ever since. Its my work email and I use my yahoo for everything else.

Call and see if you have the code attached to your name. I have had codes before that I was not notified about. It is worth a try.

I know, I was hoping for some general public room only discounts for August. They extended the timeframe to book FDP until July 26 so who knows what is going to happen next. There are so many offers this year...hopefully something will come along.

for those that didn't receive this code- don't feel too sad about it, i received the e-mail and called the same day and there were no standard rooms available at any resort tier, and the rates shown only apply to standard rooms. the water view or other room types are significantly more money.

it seems like disney uses these offers to get people in the door thinkning they will just book something more expensive anyhow since their heart is now set on going.

i asked the cm why there was no standard rooms available as i was calling the same day i got the e-mail (thinking that it was the first day of the offer). she explained that they send the e-mail to different people on different dates, so it seems you can only take advantage of your offer if you received it in the first "wave".
