Wow! Found a great shoe for Disney Trip!

Went to DSW earlier today to look for shoes. I have a wide foot, but want something stylish and comfy to break-in for my upcoming Disney trip in mid July.

I found this pair of Merrell's (whom I've bought for hubby and son) Belluna. It's a casual thong sandal (microfiber, suede and rubber). When I slipped it on, wow!

My feet were so happy and comfy, that I could not wait to get out of there and put them on. As soon as they were paid for, I threw out the pair of shoes I had on.

I paid $36.50 for them and think that's a good price. Pelz's shoes on line wants $62.95 for them!

Try these on at the store, I think you may like them!

We have these at Sports Authority where I work. Many people swear by the Merrell's, everyone says that they are comfortable. Actually had a few people buy them FOR Disney World!

You'd be surprised how many people I've helped who are shopping for shoes for a WDW vacation. You can bet I strike up 20 min long converations with them Where are you staying, what are you visitng, what airline are you flying, who are you going with, etc...I almost feel bad for them, lol.

I must say that I am somewhat of a "shoe snob" but these look awesome. They also come in black and stone. Good thing I have a DSW very, very close. I think I will have to check these out!!!

What is DSW? So they're really comfy, eh? I normally shy away from wearing anything other than sneakers to amusement parks.

It's DSW shoe warehouse.... a "haven" if you will for us shoe addicts . I'm not sure how many are around or if they are located throughout the country but there are 2 near me:

I have a pair of Merrell's that I wore all winter. They were kind of sneakery, but with a heavier sole.

I can't wear thong sandels though. they bother my toes.

They have other Merrell's that aren't thongs, more of a slip on type thing with an open back and open toes.

DSW is "Designer Shoe Warehouse." They carry a ton of shoes and are "self-service." They offer, Moostie Toostie, Cole Haan, Ralph Lauren, Liz Claiborne, Merrell, Nike, Borjne, Coach, Aerosole and others. Men's and woman's shoes, not children sizes.

They have a web site for store locators, but do not sell on the web.



They also offer, buy up to $250 card and get $25 off! Not a bad deal at all. Most shoes are discounted 30-50% off and in the back they have a sales rack with additional 30-50% off.

I was shopping for walking asndals for WDW yesterday, adn I tried on both types of Merrells (the thong and the open toed version). I found the thong to be more comfy for my foot, but I put off buying them because Dillards was asking $65/pair!!

I need to see if there is a DSW near me!

Someone on ebay is selling new Belluna Merrells for $42.00 or $45 plus sh/handling.

Is there a family shoe place near you?

I have a wide foot, so when I need to buy business shoes (Trotters or Munro about $85-125 a pair). I buy from a local family shoe place. Most have frequency cards, so when you fill the card, you get a free pair of shoes. So, my son, husband and I all together use a 12 pair card in 6 months. It's well worth it.
