Last week when I was in Disneyland with my sister, we decided to get our pictures taken with Santa. I thought I was nicely dressed in a black blouse. Santa was sitting in his throne chair and the photographers had my sister on one side, me on the other, standing up and leaning in toward Santa but facing forward.

When we went to see the pictures on photopass...well!! I had no idea that the flash would render my top see-through!!! You could clearly see my undergarment and skin right through the blouse. Worse, though, was that the pose with us leaning inward made both of us look about 50 lbs heavier because our tops followed the lean and hung down in a very non-flattering way :rotfl:

Needless to say, that Santa picture never made it to print :rotfl2:

Five years ago, I went to a concert with my boss and several coworkers (Journey and Foreigner). Got the pictures a few days later, and --hello-- the flash meant *nothing* under my black sweater was left to the imagination. I was the person in the front of the picture. I had to tell my boss that my computer ate the pictures, and confessed to my other coworkers why the pictures couldn't be shown.

There's no telling what that flash will make... flash!

I noticed a similar thing in our DL photos with one of my black tops, you could clearly see my flesh coloured bra through the top. I'm glad you posted this I just thought it must be time to throw the top away as the material was wearing thin :rotfl:

This has turned in to an excellent public service announcement. Thanks for warning! :rotfl: A few years ago it watch your yoga pants, now it's watch your shirt! I have several camisoles in different colors I wear under some of my button up blouses.

LOL!! lalasmama, that post seriously made me belly laugh. It also made me think of the Seinfeld episode with Elaine's Christmas card :) Good thing you saw it before your boss did, ha ha!

Ah yes, yoga pants! Funny you should mention that, PB. My dd came over to help me bake the other day. She had on yoga pants. That was fine until she bent over to get something out of the drawer...:scared1: Those things can be rather transparent under certain conditions!

BTW, the material in my blouse was that sort of silky t-shirt kind of material. I'm not sure what it's called. It's a sort of stretchy knit that feels really soft and doesn't look at all transparent (without a light shining directly on it, apparently). I have a bunch of both long and short sleeved shirts out of it, plus the fancier one I wore for the infamous Santa pic. I hope I wasn't walking around flashing people under bright lights :)
