WOW! Disney Dream coming into Nassau... Icing on the cake!

We had such a great vacation traveling from Washington state to Fort Lauderdale, renting a car and driving to Miami where our son booked a fly fishing excursion out on the bay from Key Biscane. He caught a Permit!



Meanwhile my DH and I drove as far as Marathon along the Florida Keys...

After those two day, we headed to Nassau and onto Eleuthera in the Bahamas. Didn't know just how "Off Season" it would be, but we got by on fresh fish and a few provisions from the shops.
But after 5 days in some rustic conditions and no A/C we were definitely looking forward to our extra night in Nassau at the British Colonial Hilton, before our trip back to central Washington via Seattle...

I had no idea I had timed the stay to include this morning viewing of the Disney Dream coming into port!
Icing on the Cake!!!

I'm guessing 5 days in humid heat was a bit different from the dry heat of E WA - definitely would be looking for AC by day 5!

What great timing!!! We were once on a land based trip to the Atlantis Resort and from the beach I saw the Wonder approaching. I was so excited and sad at the same time...excited I got to see the ship, sad I was not on it!!
