I randomly came across this and had to share!
http://www.vrbo.com/144143

And NO, I am not the owner, do not know the owner or anything like that (not advertising for them!) - I just fell in love and had to share!

And its only $550 a night! LOL

Oh my gosh, that is freaking awesome! While it is kinda pricey, it does fit quite a few people, so it really might not be that bad of a deal with a group. That's awesome!

I vaguely remember this house from Monster House. It looks like they took it even further. It is so cute!! If I had a family reunion at DL I would so rent this house!

It is an amazing looking house! I would love to tour it.. not sure about the price tag though. I mean you could stay on site for less than that money. if there was a big group or family reunion like PP said that might be do-able! But I would totally want to see it.

I would pay $10 to tour it. haha (unlike the dream home here in Sonoma that cost $20 to tour!)

Wow the owners really have created quite the disney themed house! I can imagine kids would just love it!

How cute is that!

It sounds like they make the experience a special one.:goodvibes

Wow with all the Disney stuff I have bought I think Ill do the same thing! You can sleep (sleeps one) on the Disney Jungle cruise couch with the leopard print couch cover, and even get to share it with a real animated figure, my dog Buddy!!
Come on over to the chuck wagon for some grub! Its a blast from the past in this kitchen, should remind you of the ride the Adventures through inner space as it is the Worlds tiniest Kitchen!!
For entertainment, well, we have a average size tv with DVD player!!(bring your own movies)
lol!!!!
Seriously, I love that house. If it sleeps 10, and is 550 a night, well thats only $55- a night. I think only the crack hotels downtown are that cheap. Bed bugs included. lol
They did a great job!

Whoa they are charging $20 to tour the HGTV dream home?!?! That's crazy! Anyway, yes this home is super cute, waht a neat experience that would be, but I wonder what the neighborhood is like and the outside of the house, from what I recall most of the neighborhoods in walking distance aren't super nice.

:rotfl:

OK after I win the powerball this weekend *crossing my fingers* I will definately stay here for a few days! its looks cute and I want to raid the candy kitchen! woohoo!

Oh wow, that's amazing, especially the family room. Forget the king size bedrooms, though, I'd totally sleep in the jungle room.

I am sooooo excited and I just have to share my news..........WE ARE STAYING IN THE DISNEY HOUSE WHEN WE COME DOWN IN MARCH!!!!!!!!!!!!:yay:

I almost can't even believe it.......it's a dream come true. Here's what happened.......when this post first came up, I checked out the house and emailed the link to my mom, MIL, and SIL and just said how this house looked really cool. Well, my mom decides to check into it (without my knowledge). She found that for our large group and what we would pay for our hotel rooms at BWPPI, it's not that much more to rent this place......plus we'd be getting a full kitchen and washer/dryer, not to mention the cool Disney decor. So she emailed the owners, put down the deposit and next thing I know, it's ours!!!!

We are going to DL to celebrate my 40th. So this is going to be the BEST birthday I've ever had!!! (Thank you Mom!!!!) We have a total of 5 kids going with us (ages 4 yrs to 10 yrs) and we are not telling them about it. I want to see the look on their faces when they walk in!! :woohoo:

There is one minor downside to the house though......we were originally staying right across the street at BWPPI but this house is in a residential area on the other side of the DL Hotel. So we'll have a little over a mile trek from the house to the front gate. It's okay though.......I could stand to walk off a few pounds!!!

I hope I don't come across as sounding bratty or spoiled........this is soooo not the sort of thing we usually do. I am just so excited......I could spend our whole trip there and not even go into the park! (ok not really, but you know what I mean!) :flower3:

How exciting! What an awesome mommy you have.

Happy 40th by the way. I'm celebrating my 40th this year too...hopefully at DL (hint hint Dh)
