Wow.. AKV Value(s) @ 7months.

Phoned in at around 10am this morning and was able to score a 1BR Value at the AKV for March @ 7months, and got the inlaws to call in because I asked to check if there was availability for a 2BR Value at the same time, and there was! Needless to say we'll be fairly close to each other too.

I guess you never know what availability will be like. I was sure we wouldn't be able to get the value rooms (first reason was to try them, second was to save points for that time of year), but when I heard I could have a studio, 1BR or 2BR Value I almost fell off the chair.
March 2011 here we come!

Congratulations!! I was unable to get my first 2 days in June at 11 months just goes to show you never know.
We are trying to decide now if we want to shorten our trip or move 3 times.

Great news! I hope you enjoy the value villas as much as I do. I think they're DVC's "best buy". I don't own there, and mt resident accountant/DH won't approve an add-on there, so I'm really glad to hear that a value unit was available at 7 months.

Congrats! We just had the same thing happen. We called at 5 weeks and got a value studio for 3 nights. I was shocked to say the least.

Can anyone tell me a bit about this?? Last time I was at Kidani in a Savannah View Studio and it was fantastic!
Feb. my daughter is coming with us - she will run the Princess Half Marathon - so I got the 1 BR at the Lodge since it is a Marathon 'Host' Hotel.
Thanks for any 'hints' about what to ask for at Reservations???

I believe there are 10 1BR lockoffs, 4 overlook the savannah, 4 overlook the pool and 2 overlook the parking lot. I mean you COULD request the parking lot but I think most people try to get the savannah view.

Just got a call that my granddaughter and her mother are now coming to run the Princess Half Marathon (Feb. 25,26,27)
I changed my reservations to (2) Studios at Jambo House (Savannah View) I requested to be nr. an elevator and was told that we will probably overlook the Sunset Savannah
Is this a good choice to request - I would appreciate any help with this - 3 will be running the Princess Marathon and we old Grandparents will just be there to watch and cheer (in our own Studio)
I thought this would be better than a 1 or 2 BR......Thanks for any help

I got a value 1-BR for June at the 7 month window -- in fact when I called they said that two 1-BR values were available so he put me in quickly.
