WOW! AKL did a really nice thing for my DD!

We just got back from a fabulous (albeit too short) trip to AKL. We really enjoyed hanging around the resort and taking advantage of some of the kid's programs. My DH took our DD (almost 6 years old) to do "animal tracking" on Saturday morning. He said it was no big deal, that he was expecting more, but DD loved it and that is all that matters.

Anyway, apparently when the kids "track" an animal they get a string with a bead on it representing the animal. My DD left hers in the hotel room and was devastated. We called the same day we checked out and was connected with lost and found, but they could not find it.

Well, imagine my surprise when we received a package in the mail with a NEW string with several of the most beautiful beads on it! I really appreciate that someone took the time to do that for us. My DD's face lit up when she saw it. She can't wait to go back and add beads to the string.

Wow, that's great. I have been to AKL twice and didn't know anything about this "tracking." I guess we will have to check this out next time we go. Thanks for sharing this great story.
