Wouldn't this be fun to do for Mousekeeping staff...

I am up for trying anything. I have never gotten a towel animal. I know my time will come. I will try it in September.

What a fun idea....

I went to my bank a week or so ago...and the teller had a rose made out of a number of bills...it was actually VERY cool and a great gift. (one of her regulars gave it to her as a gift)...I can just imagine...how $$$ you could really make one of those...Hers was made with all $1's ...but what if you used $20's or even $50-100's... We'll maybe not for mousekeeping...but for a graduation, wedding or even a hunny I love you/birthday/aniversary gift. I wonder if that book would have directions on how to make the rose.

I don't know about the rose -- the last time I looked in it was a few years ago. But I'm sure that the children's section at Borders or Barnes and Noble may have it. It even comes with it's own dollar bill to start you off!

Hi,
We stopped at POFQ last year and my DW made some envelopes before we left home. We left my DD's toys holding the tip in different positions every day and the housekeepers either left a folded towel or her toys waving at the window on our return, we had great fun each day deciding where and how to leave the tip!!

Haha, I dont know if I have the skills to put together crafty lil oragami's. I guess Ill just stick to my home-made Mousekeeping envelopes. Either way, doing something nice for the mouskeeping is a good feeling. Especially if mousekeeping leaves you a suprise. (amazing how those towel arts just brighten up an already sunny day)

I googled "dollar bill folding" and found this website: http://members.cox.net/crandall11/money/index.html

He has some very cute designs with very explicit directions.

It looks like fun, and you don't have to pay $14.95 for a book.

:flower: Thanks for the search. What a great idea. I think I'll be doing a few of these, have my kids make some "Thanks You's" and bring a few Wisconsinish gifts from home. Anyone that cleans up for others for a living deserves a little fun surprise once and a while! JMHO
