Would not wear it.
My sister had the peace of mind to keep some of my moms ashes ( RIP) which ultimately went in the cemetery wall , in a favorite Art piece she purchased years before. ..i had a tough time as that was not moms decision, and the rest of the ashes were on the open sea, which was her request. I came to understand why she did it. She wanted something tangible , this the wall and “urn” and that gift allowed those of us that wish to “be with her” to have a place to go. Otherwise... it’s like she was never here in Earth. And she was, in a BIg Way
When I had to put our dog down, I did keep a few pieces of his beautiful fur.. it’s in a specially made locket that I don’t wear. I’m glad I did it.
A friend of mine kept her dog... yes, he sits on his pillow for eternity. Creepy to me but what she needed. At least now it’s in her bedroom and not the living room.
Whatever works for people I say.
