So you would want it in New Fantasyland? No, I'm sick of the watering-down of Epcot's edutainment purpose. Make believe belongs in MK.
Yeah, why not, start creeping pathways beyond Beast's castle and the circus tents. Reinvent Mickey's Toontown Fair with all kinds of second-tier princess walk throughs. Let's get a Merida and Angus stable too. Esmeralda's tent. Toss Eilonway in there too. I KNOW. BLACK CAULDRON live action reboot. Can't wait.So you would want it in New Fantasyland?
A China inspired Disney hotel would be cool.I don't see it generating a lot of interest. Guest's, with a lot of ground to cover, waiting hours in line for rides, I can't imagine they'll say "we're not leaving until we've seen Mulan's house!"
Halloween Town would be really wild to see in-person, even if guests aren't well-acquainted with The Nightmare Before Christmas. Therefore, Mulan's house is cancelled.
Edit: If you had a Disney spa or something, Mulan's house would be a fitting chill zone.
What would you want for a ride? A Mushu rollercoaster, a sit down water ride, or a Peter Pan style ride?If Mulan's house had a ride associated with it, then yes! Maybe the line for the ride could wind through the house.
I would go for a high capacity sit down water ride. What would you want for a ride? A Mushu rollercoaster, a sit down water ride, or a Peter Pan style ride?
That's why I said it would work better for a spa or something. It's very tranquil, without any sense of adventure like say a Tortuga POTC recreation or something. Unless you add a Shan Yu cast member chasing people around.... chasing them around with lemon water and massage oil, that is. Because it's a spa. Now, if it were not a spa, a Disney villain coming at you with massage oil would probably raise a red flag. Heck, even Mickey, it'd be bizarre. Buzz, I have no clue why you came up with this idea, because I'm definitely blaming this post on you!One reason I thought it would be good is for historical purposes. Mulan’s story takes place around 300-500 A.D. (Western and Eastern Roman Empire era for those who want to see a map from the era). We rarely see what houses looked like from that era, especially from Asia. Also, it could be a quiet shady spot away from the crowds to just sit and relax.![]()
A ride that crosses through all of the countries would be interesting. Constantly changing scenery and themes, with the rush of speed through Epcot. Probably dangerous, but they could make it work.I'll take a dark ride for any of the countries. I've always wanted a Mulan ride.
