Would you use the unofficial guide to plan or not?

I'm just curious because the UG seems to say avoid parks on EMH days. However, we are going in May and plan to take advantage of evenings, not mornings even though they added some mornings and evenings on the SAME DAY. Should I stick with our original plans or use the UG? Dh and I have not been as a couple - we went when we were younger. No children. And we won't have park hoppers. DH prefers to stick with one park a day. So going to a morning EMH and leaving and coming back isn't an option - I don't even know if I'd get up that early. Part of me wants to take advantage of an EMH since it's a resort bonus but part of me is hesitant about it. I know May is typically not too crowded but with them adding more EMH's it makes me wonder if they are expecting higher crowds. Going 3rd week in May.

I have a fundamental philosophical difference with the UG when it come to park-touring. BUT, it is my favorite guide and has most useful ride descriptions

I think their philosophy is based a lot on the fact that most park visitors cannot take advantage of the EMH, therefore those people should clearly not go to those parks on those days, as they will be more crowded during the regular hours. Since we stay on site, and can take advantage of the extra hours, we tend to go against the Unofficial Guide sometimes and go on EMH days.
