Would you switch resorts? Two rooms at ASM for one at POR?

Not a big deal, just mildly puzzled why we are giving him more advice after he said he already made up his mind.

Some of us had dreams to be teachers or astronauts one day when we grew up.
Oh but then some people dreamed of being Dear Abby.....................or Dr. Phil. :magnify: :teeth:

Did you price out a family suite at All Star Music? We stayed in one over New Year's this year and I was very surprised at how much I liked it. You can still have two bathrooms, you can have your own private bedroom and the teens would still not have to share. There are actually three pull-out beds in the living room. My kids loved this because none of the three of them had to share a bed. And we could put the beds away during the day for more space.

I also very much enjoyed having the little kitchenette with a microwave, paper plates, cups, sink, coffee maker, etc. I could properly wash the mugs and popcorn buckets instead of in the bathroom sink. And no worries about not getting connecting rooms, so I could supervise the kids while still having the privacy of the bedroom. Lots of reasons I would book that again instead of two value rooms. And we liked the resort well enough. Of course it is not as nice as some of the deluxe or moderate resorts, but the space more than made up for that to me.

ETA: The family suites are also in the preferred area, so no paying extra for a preferred room. My kids liked being close to the main building for mug refills
