Would you stay there?

Given the price per night (based on the one in Centralia, WA) would be comparable to the Disney owned hotels, would you stay at the Great Wolf Lodge when it opens?

No. I have stayed at the one in Centralia, WA and it was a disappointment. The waterpark is small, and the water isn't very warm. The building is dark and run down. The lobby was nice. I guess I was spoiled with Blizzard Beach and Typhoon Lagoon at WDW, so an indoor park would never please me. I would rather stay at HOJO or the new hotel with the out door waterpark being built near it.

Naaaah. Great Wolf Lodge is a destination in itself. I wouldn't pay all that money to be at Disney all day long. I'd prefer to keep them separate.

I am still shaking my head at them building an indoor water park in Southern California :rolleyes2

I am intrigued by the GWL though. I was talking with one of my girlfriends about splitting a suite and having a mommy and kids weekend on one of our winter breaks........if we can find a deal on a room! Making the trip only for GWL, not doing Disney, as we live a few hours driving distance. It will probably be a one and done trip for us. Do it once and most likely never go back.

NO NO NO!!! I hate the one in Washington, way too overpriced, way too hot in the water area, nearly passing out level of uncomfortable. I go to Southern California for the sun and nice weather and a bit of a breeze while enjoying the pool. If we want to do a water park, we go to San Dimas for the day and enjoy a lot more slides. Great Wolf sucks.

No. We have been to the one is WA twice. It was fine and I think might be even better for younger kids. But, mine are 14 and 19 and there aren't enough big slides to keep them interested for more than a couple hours.

No, because I don't have kids and I am definitely not a water park person to begin with. All I really know about GWL is what I saw on Undercover Boss. Interesting concept, but not for me. If I was going to spend that much $$ I'd rather spend it on a Disney hotel.

No, it really doesn't make sense to me to pay that much when we are there to go to the parks all day. We don't even pay to stay on site, actually, since we would never spend that much time at the hotel for it to be worth it. We like to swim, but in the nice SoCal weather, we love being outside. I can't understand an indoor water area in SoCal....

No. I go to Anaheim to visit Disneyland. If I want to spend a ton of money on a hotel I would stay oniste and enjoy the Disney bubble. I have no desire to stay at a Great Wolf Lodge in Southern California. We spend to much time at the parks to get our moneys worth out of an indoor water park. You can go to a waterpark anywhere.
