Actually, according to the latest "Monitor" (AP holder little news letter/magazine), the discount for AP holders is 25% off Catagory II tickets (which are GREAT seats). I would check and see if it might be worth it to get an AP for a member of my group for that reason and also the other discounts that you get being an AP holder, starting with room rates all the way to food and other entertainment.
