for someone who doesn't like a lot heavy food in the AM?

I'm a carb (especially sweets) lover for breakfast. At Kona, I go for the Tonga Toast and at WCC, I go for the pancakes (as opposed to the breakfast skillet, which is waaay to heavy and greasy for me).

I notice that the 'Ohana breakfast menu includes sweet bread, fruit, juice, and Mickey waffles, which appeal to me (especially the sweet bread and Mickey waffles), but also includes items that look very similar to the WCC breakfast skillet (while I don't mind a small portion of bacon and eggs, I'm not a biscuit eater).

Would I like this breakfast or would I be better off just sticking with the Tonga Toast at Kona?

We went to 'Ohana breakfast because my daughter missed Stitch at Epcot. It was good. Not $120 good. It's expensive. That was for a family of 4 with a tip. Too much food for us. I would pick Kona, but I love love love Kona breakfast. I don't think there is anything better.

We love love love it! The character interaction is wonderful, and the food is delicious.

The sweet bread used to be a delicious pineapple concoction. This time (last week) there didn't seem to be much pineapple, but it was pretty sweet. You can't beat Mickey waffles.

We do the dining plan, so we don't notice the cost compared to any other character meal.

We like Ohana a lot. Although when sitting down with my older son trying to plan out our ADRs I gave him the choice for 1 of our Epcot days. I asked him which he would want to do more Akershus or Ohana. We aren't doing CRT this time around and we are not going character crazy this time around either. He chose Akershus since we weren't doing CRT and also bc we will be seeing Mickey and Pluto at other places and he said he really didn't care about Lilo and Stitch. My hubby LOVES Ohana, but he will not be joining us on this upcoming trip (he's all Disneyed Out, lol). Anyways my son told me he liked the food better at Akershus bc they had more of a variety (which is saying a lot, bc hes an extremely picky eater, lol).

The atmosphere, service, and character interactions are excellent. The food, imho, is not. I find it to be heavy, greasy, and very bland.

Went here our last several trips. The last trip the food was good but wasn't as good as previouse visits. Plus our last visit they seemed to try rushing you out to bring in the next wave. The characters were great as usual but next trip we will be substituting Ohana for Cape May.

You would be better off at Kona. You wouldn't be eating your money's worth at 'Ohana.

We love the characters AND the food! In fact, my husband liked it better than any our whole trip (with Akershus, Tusker House, Hollywood and Vine, Garden Grill, Be Our Guest and Crystal Palace in the mix). And was the one thing he wanted to repeat next time! Two thumbs up, here!

Went there on our first trip in 2011. Food was good and the kids loved the characters. I liked the ambiance of the Polynesian.

This is a favorite breakfast for my family. We do love the Poly, and if we are not staying there, we do try to visit for meals. This breakfast is fun, with plenty of good food brought to the table. No need to get up! I don't find the breakfast heavire than any other breakfast.

this will be my 10th or so visit, i can't keep track, but it is the first that we will not be going to character meal at Ohana. I have the adr now, but i think we'll cancel it. We picked the QS plan, as we like character meal breakfasts rather than an evening TS so it is not a good value on the TS plan.. but it seems like a waste of money to dump out nearly $100 on it. Last time we did take DD2, it was me trying to enjoy and second i could eating, characters coming so we wipe off DD, the food gets cold, she constantly needed something more to eat all cut up, another character comes, repeat. I felt too stressed. This time DD will be 4, so that may be better, but we will also have a 13 month old to keep entertained. I think we'll just skip it and go to character spot in Epcot, and eat QS breakfast at GF -you get a mickey waffle and a view of the MK castle. I would like to try breakfast at Kona though.

It is one of our favorites. The food like others have mentioned is not the reason we go for breakfast. My kids have had amazing character experiences here. We always do a breakfast and a dinner. Breakfast for the characters and dinner for the food:)

I liked ohana for breakfast. It was just myself and my nephew, I didn't want to deal with a buffet since it was just me and the child; and we needed a breakfast that involved Mickey. This was pretty much the only breakfast that fit the bill. We had a blast, and the food was decent (not amazing, but decent) There are pastries and Mickey waffles for the carb-craver.

We prefer 1900 Park Fare for breakfast. It is a buffet though, so a lot of food. However, the variety is better, especially concerning sweet things. If you don't want a lot of food, I would go with Kona or even get your Tonga Toast at Capt Cook's.

We like their breakfast. DH swears by the eggs ( is there coconut milk in the scrambles?). Im with OP much prefer sweets and carbs but the juice eggs and pineapple sweet bread Yum. But as PPs said you are paying for experience. Only place to meet lilo and stitch.
