would you recommend Mk on a EME day if staying offsite?

Hello, I know the "rule" about avoiding parks on Extra Magic Hour days if your are staying offsite. Does the same hold true for the days the parks have the extra magic evening. ie will the park be really busy that day? Last time I went (last Feb) we only had to worry about the avoiding the parks with early entry in the morning, so the evening thing is all new to me.
