Would you rather...

eat at Donald's Africa Safari Character Breakfast at Tusker House in Animal Kingdom, BOMA's or just eat breakfast at your resort?

We will be taking in the other character breakfast at CRT, Poly, Contemporary and GF. Since I have not read much about Donald's, I don't know if we should do this one also or eat at BOMA's or the Resort instead?

Our family is big on Character breakfast as oppose to seeing the main characters in the parks. I don't know if Donald and Daisy are anywhere else meal wise but Animal Kingdom?

Advice needed?

I'm not a huge breakfast fan personally (I'm a night owl), but the rest of my family love the character breakfasts...If you're family is the same, then I would recommend going to Donald's Safari - hard to go wrong, really. I think that most of the breakfast buffets are very similar (maybe a speciality or two at each location), so if you're looking for variety, you won't find it there, but if you're looking for Donald and Daisy, then you can't go wrong! :thumbsup2

I was once told by a CM that Daisy is the most difficult character to find...ironically, the next day, she opened Mickey's Toon Town!

Anyway, if seeing Donald and Daisy is really the goal, go where you know they'll be (Tusker). If not, it depends on where you are staying to say eat at your resort. We've liked 1900 park fare (cruella, mary poppins) etc. but usually grab something and go. We're big fans of Swan and Dolphin and usually grab something quick at Picabu and hit the road.

We love Boma, we have eaten there 3 times on our last 2 trips it is that good. I hear that the Tusker House breakfast is just as good as Boma but with characters and a bit louder.

For just DH and I we would go to Boma but in January when I bring my 2 nieces we are planning on Tusker House because we feel the same way, better to have a nice breakfast and have the characters visit you than wait in long lines to see characters

We really enjoyed Donald's Breakfast Safari @Tusker House when we went in December 2007. (We also enjoyed it when it was @Resturantasauras in May 2007!) We like breakfast foods and getting into the park before it opens. The food (especially the juice they serve you when you sit down,) atomsphere, service were all great! Go for it! :thumbsup2
(Have had dinner @Boma it thought it was just OK.)

Donald's it will be. Well if I get my ADR's the way I would like them, that is. Only 9 more days to my ADR rerquest day!!!!
