I would pay, as would my mom. I'd pay for my Born-In-Park character and a boy character too, if they let us do that. I would hope they would allow 2 or more characters per account (2 sounds reasonable, doesn't it?).

As bad as things have been at times, it's the only online game that interests me. I would NOT pay for any other game, including ANY Disney game. Unless it's for VMK, Disney will not get one red cent from me for their Online Gaming services. Nope! :sad2:

I agree with Ant
If VMK ever wants to succed in the pay to play world it actually needs to READ Messages that paying customers send them and stop with the stupid form letters!!
The past 2 weeks since VMK announced it is closing I have gotten more and more dissapointed in them and have to say that I would NOT pay to play this game.

Thank you Miss Blue! Could you imagine pre-paying for a year to play vmk, then getting an unfair 10 year ban for no reason, and then trying to get your pre-paid money back when they have such terrible customer service?

All you would get in response is vmk_shorty saying, "we are sorry but we have your money already and won't give it back because you broke the rules!"

If it meant saving cutecats I would pay, if they didn't charge too much.

I wouldn't really want to pay. I have better things to spend my money on.

I would absolutely pay. Yes the lag and the customer service are sad, but keep in mind there are tens of thousands of players and something like 10 employees. If it became pay to play, they could use the income to upgrade systems and add staff to help handle things more appropriately.

To be totally honest, I'm a big video game fan though I don't have a whole lot of time outside my job and other responsibilities to play games. Despite this, and despite my many games I have on my computer and game consoles, I spend way more time playing VMK than I do any of the games I've spent money on. Yes there are problems and screw-ups like the Blackheart Quest, but the only reason those things are so awful to us is because we love it so much to begin with.

I voted that I would pay for VMK and no other games. But that is my choice given what online games Disney has now.

my husband pays for WOW and EQ and some other game. He was disappointed FOR me when he found out "my" kingdom was going to close, he said "we can pay for, don't worry about that babe" to which i had to tell him it was closing. he gave ma a hug :lovestruc . Yes we would pay to play and i would even volunteer to pay for a few DIS "kids" who could not or parents could not pay.
heck i would even elbow Aengus to be first in line to pay! (much love and respect to the Grand Master A!) :goodvibes :lmao:

I voted YES I would Pay to Play VMK. No other online games or Disney online Games. I'm an Adult.

I think if there was a pay to play option for vmk, a lot of issues might be resolved, with regards to Customer Service, Game Issues, etc.

I never thought I would pay to play vmk. But with the possible (yes I'm very much still hopeful) End in sight, I can for sure say Yes I would.

I put pay to play too. I think if it became that we would have proper customer service. My hubby plays toontown off and on and when he could not load the game on Vista he was able to talk to a person right away.

They said they were working on the issue and should be fixed soon and to have a one month credit added to his account.

There is no other game for me. Though I played less today than I ever did why. I was busy cutting out 12 flats to send :)

I would pay for my account and my daughter's main account. My husband was watching me design a room today, and asked if they were going to start pay to play. He was disappointed when I told him they say they have no plans for that; he likes the stress relief VMK provides for me.

Not only would I be paying for My account, I would pay for my little sister kelsey (keyskat) and my all my little cousins; Meleigha(The_Queen), Samantha (miss_crazy), Lauren (tip.top), Alexis (chocoate_lady), Nickolas (tommycat) if there parents hadn't done so already that is.

I am sorry but I'm not interested Disney's other game. Pirates is to narrow, I don't want to be a pirate all the time and I know that my parent and aunt and uncles wouldn't like teaching their kids to gamble (what was disney thinking?). Toontown was voted dumb by the whole group. And I just can't get into Penguin. I don't have much interest in the upcomming games either Cars just doesn't appeal to the girls in the group and as an adult I don't think I will play faries.

What I really appealed to me about vmk to start with was that it looked and felt like a Real Magic Kingdom park (I love the parks and visit every chance I get!), And just like the Magic Kingdom that it was safe for all the members of my family to play and everyone was able to find something that they really enjoyed doing!

What kept me hooked for 2.5 years was the fun we all had seeing each other online, All the friends I have made in the game and here on Dis, The fun of collecting my favorite things, and trying to make sure my little sister and cousins got theirs.

I just don't think any other game will be able to live up to VMK! While I would gladly pay for VMK I will not be paying for any other games.

IMKOATEYW, think of the costs involved. How MUCH would you be willing to pay for each player. For me, it depends how much it would cost to play. If it were like $10 a year, that would be fine. If it were $10 a month, I couldn't do that. I might go as hight as $4 a month but no more than that.

How much do I think it would cost?/How much would I be willing to pay?

First with moving to pay to play I would hope to get some improvements that have been ignored since it is a free game. #1 would be proper customer service!, better game play and easier axcess to sponsered events, less the lag and dc, better ecomomy, and I would love to keep our old stuff but I understand if we can't.

I would be happy to pay around $60~$84 per year. At around $120 per year I think it tops out and anything over that I think it would price it's self out of the market.

Basicaly I would concider it a excellent value at about the price of a monthy trip to a local state park ($5), a good value at the price of monthy movie ticket ($7), and a fair value at the price of a monthy net flix subscription ($10), and anything over would blow my entertainment budget.

I think many are prepared for somewhere around $7-10 per month. I may be wrong, but from what I've read, that seems pretty normal in online subscriptions.

I would be prepared to pay that, even though I would take quite a piece from my entertainment budget. Although, I already have a $7 monthly subscription to a music site that I rarely use. So If VMK went pay to play, I would be cancelling that subscription to pay for VMK.
