Would you pay more to.....

stay at Pop? I have a reservation for 1 night at All Star Sports for $75 (with AAA discount) before I move onto 4 nights at BCV. I've been reading some bad reviews about ASsp but on the other hand it's only for one night. For those of you who've stayed at both, what would you do?

On a side note: this will be my first value experience.

While I haven't stayed at Sports, I have stayed at POP, Music, and Movies. Since you are there for only one night, there really isn't enough difference to warrant a schedule change...unless you are addicted to frozen coke which is only available at POP.

Now, if you were staying longer, I would recommend POP as I believe the bus transportation is better.

I am addicted to coke but don't really care for the frozen variety. I think freezing it weakens the kick.

We have stayed at both and for a bit more it is worth it. It is newer and brighter. AS Sports is run down compared to POP. The question is how much cheaper? If it is under $20 to me Pop is worth $20 more, but that is just my opinion.

we've stayed at all the values, but since Pop is the newest, it's definitely the brightest, with the better food court - plus it has a lake!!!! (half the lake, anyway, until the rest of the resort is finished!)

$20 cheaper. The AAA discount isn't available at POP

We've stayed at both. We will NEVER stay @ Sports again. bad experience w/ football fans and our 1yo DD getting hit in the head by a football. It's only for one night so i don't see how it would matter much. But if it we're us we would switch to POP if it was $50 more. Just my 2 cents.

POP is nicer and newer. Plus the buses are better.

I've never stayed at POP so I really can't compare.

I can tell you that we stayed at All Stars for one night before moving to another resort and that was enough for us. I remember it being very noisy and we checked out very early in the morning.

We've stayed at both - have not had a bad experience at Sports, but our stay at Pop was so much better. Newer, brighter and better busses. But for one night? I don't think it's really worth it, unless you make the resorts a focal point of your stay.

I have stayed at both and Pop is by far my choice out of the 2 resorts....but for just 1 night I would think that the Sports would be ok.

We are doing the same thing at the end of our BWV trip, (one night AS Sports). I would save your money, I do not really like Sports but I do not like Pop either. It's only one night so it should be fine.

Sports is undergoing a renovation and if it will then compare to the new rooms at ASMusic, then to me, it will be brighter and newer than Pop. I loved the new pillow top mattresses at ASMusic and new decor. I haven't seen photos of the new rooms at Sports but for one night, I too would save the $20.00 since you're not really doing much but sleeping.---Kathy
