With the shortened winter hours, not only am I doing it the day of arrival but also sneaking in another 2 hours in the am before we have to leave for airport our last day.

Oh yes, yes, YES!!! And we have....a few times now. Sorry I have not read the thread yet but I wanted to add my 2 cents to the orignal question. We find it so worth it just to get those couple of hours. Off to read the rest.....
