I am doing some research for work on anywho.com. (No really I am!!) and I came across a phone that had the following header "teenager's phone" Now would you want to advertise that in this day and age?

It just kind of creeped me out.

I actually have seen that quite often.

It was pretty common back in the olden days when I was a teenager.

Now I don't know many teenagers that have a separate landline. Most of them have cell phones. I'm not sure how you would list it, though--put the name or an initial?

When I was younger (pre-teen, teen), I had my own phone number. Now, don't get crazy thoughts, you can actually get what is called a "child's line" or something. It's basically a second phone number that rings on the same phone line, but, instead of the regular phone ring, when you called my number, it would do a double ring, so I could give that number out to my friends and my parents would know when it was for me.

Nope, heck I wouldn't even get a separate line for her!

I have a relative who's # on the caller ID says '___name___ Kids'
I don't know if it is 'listed'
We will probably put in another line at the new house for the kids (dh grew up where him and his sister had their won line and loved it that way)
but I haven't even thought about all that really yet...
