Call me Crazy but i am just having the hardest time planning my vacation and im a PLANNER ... I like to plan EVERYTHING.
I think im just so nervouse because i dont know enough about Disney and i want to make sure that my DD2 and husband enjoy it as much as i will that i just cant put it in writing for an itinerary!

If you like to plan and want to give it a shot please by all means help a girl out...HAHA

Heres the lowdown.
ME 31, DH 33 and DD 2
Leaving VT on Oct 4th arriving at the airport in Orlando aprox 2pm
Staying at the ALLSTAR MOVIES and will take advantage of the disney transportation to the resort from airport.

We have a 5 day hopper and will be leaving October 10th possibly the 11th (havent booked the airfare as of yet because independence air (where i have a 215.00 credit) hasnt released there OCt rates yet.

We want to spend a day at seaworld somewhere in here and my brother, sis in law and their 2 kids age :earsgirl: 14 and :earsboy: 6 will be coming on the weekend to visit.

We would like to have PS at cindys breakfast and chef mickeys possibly try another one but havent decided ....... (im thinking have those to PS before Saturday)
IF YOU CAN HELP i would love a starting point!

i would like to see every park but not necessarily do much at Epcot because my DD is so young and probably wont find much to do???

our meal budget is aprox 500-700 for the week...........

THANKS GUYS!!!

5 day hopper:
I would spend 2 of those days at MK & take your time. Oct will be less crowded & manageable. I think dd2 would probably enjoy MNSSHP & you can get her a cute costume to wear!! I would consider CP with Pooh characters for her age too.
She might like the dino dig thing at AK as well as Pocohontas & FotLK.
She will love the shows at MGM (VotLM, Playhouse Disney & B&tB).
You can schedule an EPCOT day for the adults if she is good about sitting in a stroller. She might actually like the little shows & bands. She may even enjoy the kidcot stations if she is in to coloring. She can do the Mexico boat ride, the Viking Ship playground at Norway, acrobat show in China (you can also buy a cheap fan & a CM will personalize it with her name in Chinese), candy lady in Japan (if she is close enough to see), bands in UK & Canada and the hedge maze in UK.
She will probably like the penny presses (they have them in each country except China) & she may also want to do character autographs.
You may also want to consider the lego place at DTD.
Just make sure to go back to the hotel in the mid day to give her a nap & try to keep her to her normal bedtime. She may not want to do the fireworks shows.
Have fun! Take lots of pics!

First, get a calendar with your dates.
Next, look at park schedules and see what park you will probably visit on which date.
Then, think about where you would like to eat at each park on that day.
(If I were you with the food budget that you have, I would buy the dining plan ($35 + $35) = $70/day X 6 nights= $420.00 for 6 sit-downs, 6 counters, and 6 snacks. Your child, being 2, eats for free. That would save a ton of money on food.)
Figure out when you need to call for Priority Seatings and write them on your calendar.
Then, research and list what you "must-see" at each park.
Read here and at allearsnet.com for tips on what to take and pack, overlooked things to do/see, and when to ride certain rides.

Have fun!

Thanks for all the info, Especially all the stuff at epcot... I woudl like to wander around the place and really didnt know if she would have any fun but it sounds like she would!
DD turns 3 the following month so she is closer to 3 then 2!

I CANT WAIT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hi Erin! You helped me do my itinerary... and you're still helping me as I'm a "prowler" on these boards still. I had no idea about getting fans in China at Epcot and having their names on them in Chinese. OMG, I LOVE this idea so much I am actually looking forward to Epcot just for that reason only. It's such a unique souvenir, I think I may do this for people back home too. Thanks again for your expertise.

SO, is this something they are always doing, or do we need to ask someone to do it for us? Also, how much are penny presses?

Hi! Have you decided or thought about what resort category you would like? With DD only 2, I would try to stay in the MK area. If you can afford to stay at the Poly, that would be very convenient to MK plus pretty easy for EPCOT. She would still enjoy some of EPCOT, like seeing the animals at the Living Seas, Turtle Talk, eating at Coral Reef maybe. My DD loved Honey I Shrunk the Audience at 2 almost 3, but it is a little scary, the snake especially. She would also love Illuminations I think. Have fun! Planning is half the fun for me.

Got DTD the nite you check in great way to kick off your week. Hit Mk on the 5th, wednesdays are usualluy the one of the less crowded days. Get there 20-30 mins before opening. Make a list of what rides you want to hit for each park to eliminate a lot of back tracking. Make ressie's exactly 90 days before you want to go to for cindy's breakfast for that is the toughest ps to get. Make chef mickey's while your at it. I love chef mickey's. October is pretty good monthe weather and the crowds are lower so the wait lines shouldn't be that bad for major attractions. I would recommned to buy the "Unofficial Guide to Walt Disney World" they have great touring plans for all parks and what days to go to each and what days to avoid certain parks.
They have ratings for all restaurants there and ratings of all rides. My 2 biggest suggestions would to head back to your hotel in the afternoon for a break then head back later in afternoon or early evening, and take advantage of the fastpass system. But i highly recommend the above book. It's really handy I refer to it all the time.
Have fun!

Thanks so much guys!

I guess i will give it a shot and post it and have you experts critique it for me?

THANKS AGAIN this board is so helpful!!
