Would you like a Game board on the Dis?

I'm not trying to ruffle the feathers of the powers that be, but I have noticed a lot of talk lately about all the different threads on the CB and I was curious what everyone here thought about a Game board. So what's your opinion? Yes, No, Don’t care?

I aksed the mods for one at least 2 years ago, when these posts started taking off. You'd post a new thread, and it almost immediately went to page 3; nobody ever saw them.

They never even answer me then.

Yes, I would. However, this has been asked and asked and asked over and over and over. It is my understanding that it is not up to the mods which boards are started or closed, so I don't think it does any good to direct these request at them. For some reason or another, the powers that be do not want to add a game board. I don't see it happening.

I would like to see a dedicated board for them. I started a game thread, so it's not like I have anything against them.

Alex answered one of these threads once, and he explained why the powers that be aren't up for it. (its been awhile, so i'll try to get this right) The cb is for everything, serious to fluff and debates to games. if we remove one whole part of that, then we'll end up eventually losing the cb, and having everything dived off into parts. I think its to keep the cb intact.

Amen! And sorry to say, I think because it is a logical thing to do because the majority may want it and voices are being heard, it won't happen...just for spite.
I think it would be a GOOD move for the CB.
