Would you like a 'catagory of the week' recipe thread?

I thought it would be fun to have a weekly thread where we pick a new catagory for recipes. Like side dishes, salads, etc.

Would you want to participate, and which catagory would you like to start with?

Are soups going to be included in main course. I like all soups and I am always looking for new appitizer recipes too.

Yes, I would love to participate in a thread like this....love to cook and love to find new recipes. I would be happy with any category to start with!

ohh, baking is my specialty... i would love to see desserts on the list. as an added suggestion, why don't you break down the categories into subcategories, for instance desserts wuld become-cookies-cakes-pies-bars-frozen desserts, but they would all be under the desserts category, not a separate category.

Great idea, Liza! Thanks for suggesting it. I'd love to participate.

I voted for starting with main courses because I get bored so easily with making the same things....even though what I make now isn't the same boring stuff I made 3 years ago. LOL Any topic would be welcome, though.

Daisymae, that's a great idea Maybe each month can have a 'main' theme, and each week, a subcatagory of that.

I'll start the first thread tomorrow to kick of the week
