Would you join an exclusive WDW restaurant/club?

I just saw that DL opened 21Royal, an exclusive dining venue in Walt's apartment. I know DL is different from WDW.

IMO, DL relies heavily on locals and AP holders, so they offer different things like clubs to keep them coming back to the park. It's a different mentality when you run to DL for the weekend or bring a client to Club 33. Whereas DW is a tourist destination. Some people only make it there once in a lifetime.

But for those who travel regularly, let's say once or twice a year, would you join an exclusive club at a luxury price (as I'm typing this, my mind keeps going "isn't that DVC?")

And to have a little fun with it, where would you put the club? What would be the price?

I mean, having it in the castle sounds like a no brainer, but the fact the CRT is right there takes the exclusivity away from it. Maybe someplace above Main Street? In EPCOT, I'd love to see it atop the glass pyramid where they have the DVC lounge now. In DHS, it'd be cool to open a lounge in Tower of Terror exclusive to guests or back when they had Streets of America, have one of the doors lead to the secret club.

I think if WDW ever implemented something, they'd need to have clubs in each of the parks. Similar to a SOHO Club (found in Miami, Chicago NY and a few other big cities,) they can offer one-park club membership or a more expensive "World Pass" where guests can go to any club in the parks.

This is purely hypothetical and for fun—I'm not saying they SHOULD add the expense I'm just saying if they were to add an exclusive dining club, where would you put it?

According on how much it costs as to whether or not I'd join it. Where to put it? In MK over one of the shops, in Epcot over one of the countries, in HS smack dab in the lobby of ToT (hey we are dreaming right) and I'm not sure about AK, maybe in some of the ruins on one of the trails.

Club 33--I think--costs around $15,000 or more to join, there are monthly dues(or an annual fee), and there is a waiting list of people who have waited years to join. If that's the sort of thing you're suggesting for WDW, my answer would be no. If they'd like to have a more modest fee structure, I'd consider it, but we don't even go to V&A because of the picky eaters in my group.

My answer is " It depends on the details ". Under the right situation I certainly would consider it.

Nope - but I hope those who go enjoy themselves. Have a friend with Club 33 membership and she would never give it up. As for me, there are plenty of high cost meals to be had on property as it is.
