Okay, here's the deal. DS(17), my cousin and I are going to WDW for 3 days before taking the 4 day Wonder. We plan on going to MK one day, MGM one day and TL one day.

The best way that I could figure the price is as follows:

3 day base price: $182.12
Park hopper option: 35.00 (+tax)
TL one day ticket 37.28

Total each ticket $ 254.40

Is this the cheapest way to go? I wouldn't need to second option of the Plus Pack.

If you know of some way that would work better, please let me know.

Thanks!

If you plan on only going to MK for a full day and then studios for a full day, do you need the hopper option?

2 day adult (no hopper) $126.74
TL 1 day ticket $36.21
Total $162.95 per person

Let me say this . . . I have a college degree and may have to go back for a masters to figure out this new Disney ticket price! ;)

What might be helpful (it was for me) was to call Disney Travel and they can assist you with your question. Of course they, too, will give you an amazing amount of options, but they may be able to help narrow down the best one for you. The number to Disney Travel is 1-407-939-6244. Good luck! :earboy2:

Chuck S - That would save a considerable amount of money but could I add on the "No Expiration" option or do I have to get the hopper option in order to get the no expiration? It's really just a quick side trip to the world. Our main trip would be the cruise.

disneyaggie - I would like to meet the brain that thought this up. I haven't figured it out yet but I'm SURE there's some way Disney is going to make tons of extra $$$$ off of the new ticketing system!

I'm with you! What a wacky system! I find it way too confusing. And I, too, would like to know what genius thought this one up! :earboy2:

All options are seperate. You can add hopper without the others, you can add expiration even if you don't have hopper or plus options/etc. :)

The non-expiration option wasn't in your original 3-day hopper price.

According to this website, a 2 day adult park ticket, no expiration is $ 137.39, no hopping. Add a 1 day TL ticket, and the total is: $137.39+$36.21=$173.60...still a considerable saving over your 3 day hopper. These tickets must be purchased at WDW, no advance sales.

I agree- even online it shows the option of buying even just one ticket and adding whatever options you want (including adding expiration and plus -which would give you one plus and could use that at TL- even without having the hopper option added).

I found all this new MYW ticket stuff VERY confusing at first- but if you go to Disney's website and check out the tickets there and all the options... it's easier to grasp it all. LOL I really do like the way they are now, once I figured them out. Because I like the idea of paying only for what you WANT. :)

Also, if you think yo may need the non-expiration on a 2 day ticket with no hopping, it would be cheaper to buy 2 one day one park tickets (basically buy IF you need them) at $63.63 each...that way you won't have to pay the non-expiration and won;t be paying for a ticket you may not use.

2 one day adult tickets is ($63.63x2) $127.26 - no hopping. A 2 two day ticket, no hopping, no expiration is $137.39.

So it is cheaper to buy 2 one day tickets and use them, than buy a 2 day with non-expiration just in case you don't use that 2nd day right away.
