Sure, I'd go. Heaven knows we've done every other character meal they offer, so why not a pirate one with Captain Jack? pirate:

Well maybe not JUST Jack... but all the POTC characters... they could serve seafood pirate:

I think it would be a lot of fun... more booked than CRT and lots and lots of mommies :cheer2:

That would be a character meal that everyone in the family would enjoy! I'd book it every time!

Don't get me wrong, my DD loves the princess meals but my boys HATE them

I went the PPP in Feb and there were more people dressed up like pirates than princesses so it got me to thinking.... I bet Disney would make a killing off a pirate themed character meal!

Well, I know I've had my fill of princess meals and my boys would love the priate theme.

DH, DS and I would LOVE IT if they did this!! We would be excited to go to any new character meal that involved more characters that boys love too. :thumbsup2

I think it would be great if they put a breakfast or something at the restaurant Cap'n Jack's in Downtown Disney using Jack Sparrow as the guest of honor...like you are eating at his place. :cool1: It would also bring popularity back to the Disney staple.

Sure could! That and a Pixar meal too. I'm tired of the same ole same ole. It'd be nice to see something new. Bring out some of the charcaters you don't see everywhere, ya know?

Does Captain Jack behave in the same piratey way at WDW as he does at DLR? At Disneyland I've seen him turn his back on rude or pushy people, and completely ignore them, even if the rude person has kids. His "handler" constantly has to explain that he is indeed a pirate, and one must not expect him to act like Mickey.

I just don't see how that would go with a character meal, where people expect the characters to visit each table and not skip any.

Then again, from what I've read it seems that Disneyland gets quite a bit more Jack than WDW does, so maybe WDW could "control" their Jack. :upsidedow

I can't think of a character I'd rather meet. Oh, and the kids would like it, too. :lmao:

im surprised disney havent thought of it yet as it would VERY popular!!

Also a Toy story meal, with Buzz Woody and Jessie!! I Would love that!

DD would have me making a special trip to WDW to attend a meal with Capt Jack! She's been to two Pirate & Princess parties and we had to wait in line both times to have our picture taken with the Captain!
