Well, I just found out that I'm pregnant. 7 weeks!! We're leaving for disney in 2 weeks!!! I have such terrible moring sickness I'm scared to go. Everything is paid for already though. I think we'll just have to take it really slow and take lots of breaks.
:cheer2: CONGRATULATIONS!!! :cheer2:
I am sure you will still have a wonderful magical trip! :thumbsup2 Just do like you plan and take it easy and slow :snail: ...and don't forget to drink plenty of H2O so you don't dehydrate! :drinking: Enjoy yourself and remember you brought your little souvenier with you! :yay:

Best of luck for a magical trip and a wonderful healthy pregnancy! :wizard:

I had morning sickness, afternoon sickness, and night sickness for 6 months. It was horrible. 24 hours 7 days a week. I could not do anything always felt like I was about to throw up. I lost weight because i could not eat. The only thing i wanted was tomatoes and cherries.

I used the sea bands and that helped a little. I was able to still work (20 hours a week though) because of it. Also what really helps is leamons, i would just take a big thing of them and eat it with salt. It really works but may give you a little heart burn, i took that over the morning sickness though. A guy at my job bought me some one day and told me to eat it and to my supprise it helped. Also...ginger....ginger tea....ginger candy... (you buy the ginger in the store cut a small peice and boil it you can make it as strong as you like by adding more or less then you drink it with sugar, it taste good (Jamaicians drink it as tea). It did not help me really but my mother said it helped her and my doctor told me to try it so i am assuming that it helps some women.

These are the things that got me through 6 months of utter missory. Non stop sickeness :rolleyes2. (thats why i have yet to do it again the labor is not what got me it was that)

Anyway i know this is long but I think if you find something that helps you a little and you take it slow you will be ok. Your body lets you know when you need to stop just listen to it.

I personally would not go with a newbie...I see most moms just sitting there with the baby and it seems as if they do not get to enjoy the trip at all. also, that is a lot for a newborn to handle...people, temps, noise, etc.

I would vote for newborn.

I went when 4 mos pregnant and it was really hot (Sept) and I was still feeling sick. I went again at 8 mos. pregnant and felt like I couldn't keep up with everyone. Plus, both times I couldn't ride the rides I love the most. We went at the end of March when ds was 5 weeks old and dd was almost 3. My husband's parents went as well which helped since we could ride some adult rides while they watched the kids and they also helped out more with dd when I needed to feed the baby. As far as taking a child, it was the easiest trip with ds. Since I nursed him, feeding him was super easy, no bottles to carry. He mainly stayed in the snugli the whole time with my husband taking care of shuttling dd (his shoulders). I tucked a light weight blanket around and over him to block out wind and sun. And, he slept through the night for the first time while on that trip, although I did end up just putting him in his infant carrier instead of the crib at night. Now ds is 2 1/2 and it seems to take so much more effort to travel with him. We have to take the blankie or bear everywhere, plus snacks, cups, toys, etc. But we don't mind it too much. We'll be there again in Sept.

Congrats on your pregnancy! Have a great trip, take it slow, and take care of yourself. Take some saltine crackers and munch on them when you feel the queeziness coming on.

Well we dont have a choice and we are taking our new son who will be almost 5 months at the time. Our trip is already paid for....needless to say we are washing all his clothing in RIT SunGaurd, and his blankets. It guarentees a UV/UB protection of 30. I will us Aveeno baby on his little legs and arms for the rest. Might want to look into those if you are going with a baby. :thumbsup2

We went last fall when my daughter was 7 weeks old, my sister was married there and her wedding was planned before I was even pregnant. The baby was so easy, I had a solerveil sling and she slept and nursed in the sling the whole time. She only weighed 4 lbs 9 ozs at birth so she was probably around 7 pounds when we went. I got a lot of dirty looks and horrified looks. A few people asked if I had just delivered. She was tiny, but did just fine. my sister's wedding was beautiful and my older boys had a blast. My two yr old was much harder then the baby.
