Thinking of going before DH deploys and we have never gone over MLK weekend. ? :confused3
Anyone have much to say either way?
:thumbsup2 :sad2:

thinking of doing the same here. I would think it would be busy because school is out. I'm hoping to get a sunday visit and then overnight in anaheim and attend monday as well.

Anyone have anything to say?
Go for it,
forget it,
it will be fine,
dont do it?

:confused3

Depends on what you want to get out of it. We've done it a few times and while it's been crowded, it hasn't been Easter break or middle of the summer crowded. We just maximize Fastpass and take an afternoon break during the heavy crowds. Just like we'd do on any other visit.

If you want a crowd free experience, don't go. If you just want to be in Disneyland and can forego being able to ride everything, then go for it.

We are going the week of MLK but our first day in the parks is planned for Tuesday. If it is anything like WDW (which is where we usually go in Jan) Saturday and Sunday will be heaviest and Friday and Monday not as bad. On Friday lots of people will arrive later in the day so if you can get an early start you can probably get a lot done and then on Monday people have to head home so as the day goes on Monday it seems to lighten up some. I'm hoping the crowds drop a lot by Tuesday....

It's our first time to DL, and we are going over MLK weekend as well. We arrive on Saturday, will spend the day with the fam, and then head to DL on Sunday, spend the night, and then finish up on Monday!! I am soooo excited!!! :yay: :yay: :yay:
