Would you ever work with your Spouse?

As I said up-thread, my DH and I are in the same industry. I work for a much better company than he does; pays better, better benefits and offers a much more stable future. For his own good and the good of our family I would LOVE him to work for my company, if not necessarily with me. Your situation sounds similar so maybe just consider his presence there a "networking opportunity" and take advantage of it to get your foot in the door. I wish you both well. :wave2:

Thanks!

I did it! I just submitted my resume. And I am a nervous wreak now! Hoping for some good news in the next week or so :)

I've worked with girls I've dated because we met at work at high school/college jobs. I would not have wanted to work with my wife. Separation I think is needed.

I do work with my daughter now. She graduated high school and is working summer help before college. She works the production floor and I work daylight in the engineering department and she brings home more than I do.

I explained to her on her first day, at home we are father and daughter. At work we are coworkers. She gives me lip when I see her about building boxes for her and such and I lip right back at her, 25 years, I don't build boxes any more, get busy, LOL.

Nope. Married 53 years but would never work with him. Maybe that's why we're married 53 years!

My wife edits my books, so we kinda work together only neither of us seem to get paid.
. We have fun she abuses me about everything I write, so its pretty much like everything else we do.
Believe me, her abuse is warranted. I mean somebody has to stand up against the way I abuse the English language.
