I'm not married yet (heck, I've never even had a BF (: ), but I would really have no problem marrying more than once in my lifetime. Afterall, the vows are until "to death us do part."

TigerBear,

Cute puppies you have-especially the little Beagle ::MinnieMo

I look at my Grandmother for inspiration. She has outlived three husbands, each as wonderful as the last. She currently has a new boyfriend at 78 years old. She owns her own house, has her own friends, looks 50, and embraces life exuberantly. So yes, I would absolutely marry again.

In case DW is snooping around here, I won't say any more than...
IN A NEW YORK MINUTE!

I've been married twice and that's enough!

I hate being alone, so I can't say "no", but right now I don't see it ever happening.

:wave2: Hey Serena good to hear from you. :D I was just going to post to see if anyone had heard from you. Hope you have a good day.

After my divorce, I'd have said absolutely not. My ex cheated and lied so much in the last two years that it totally overshadowed the 11 good years we'd had.

Then I met my fiance. He's a wonderful man who would do anything for DD or myself. I feel like he is the person I was supposed to marry--but geography separated us. We both had to go through our previous relationships to end up together.

We've been living together for the last 3 years, we've bought a new home, and we're getting married this year. So, yes! You never know what life will bring you. I firmly believe that all things happen for a reason.

I've also picked out the wife for DH should I meet my untimely death before my kids are grown. Its someone I think would be a great step mother to my kids and a good wife to DH. He of course is mortified at the very though, since he doesn't really like her in that way. I told him he'd learn to like her. :p

We don't have kids, but I've done the same thing, Snoopy. Made gentle suggestions to DH as to who I think would make a good wife for him....just in case! :p :D

I really don't know if I would get re-married. It would be difficult finding someone to put up with me!

I voted no because I truly believe that I married my soulmate 17 years ago. He is a wonderful husband and I cannot imagine my life without him. It would be unfair to compare another man to him and I'm afraid that is what I would do. My mom was widowed at 48 and never remarried. She was a widow longer than she was married but she lived a very fulfilling life with tons of friends and I believe that although she missed my dad so much, she never really thought about marrying again. She devoted her life to her kids (I was only 8 when my dad died) and kept a large circle of wonderful friends. I keep telling my dh that with any luck, we will die together while on an exotic trip when we are 92.:p

'DH' and I have been together for 19 years...not married. We Co-habitate.:p He was married 3 times, and our relationship has lasted LONGER than ALL 3 of his Marriages. I was married to my Kids Dad and it was a nightmare. My present 'DH' has had some doozies too, but together, we are OK.;)

DBF and I are the same way. Although he's never been married, but he has had some skeevy women make his life miserable in the past. Thank god they aren't around anymore. Neither of us have kids.

Our LTR has lasted longer than at least 3 marriages I know of.

Im another one who has suggested a replacement for me to DH. ;)

Never, and i will always love my ex,who has been married 3 times(to say that he has issues would be an understatement)I would have a house full of cats and dogs first..:sunny: :bounce:

I did remarry 4 months ago. Let me say I regret every minute of it. I had been married for 13 years then divorced for 5. A moment of insanity and I remarried. I sit here now thinking what the heck did I do to my life.

So no I'll never get married again.

The downside to that is when they seem overly intrigued by the replacement suggestions!! ;) :D

Maybe I read this wrong, but you will always love your ex who has since been married three times??

Please , please don't this the wrong way. I can see always loving an ex if you are not still together because he died. But if he left you??

I am only in my early 30's but I would have to say no, I don't think I'd ever remarry. DH and I have been married for 9 years and we really are a perfect match. We both are crazy about each other and are best friends. I can't fathom ever being with anyone else if death were to seperate us.
Someone else mentioned that it wouldn't be fair because they know that they would constantly be comparing the new person to their first spouse. I feel the exact same way. No one else could hold a candle to my DH. I may not be rich or famous, but I am increadibly blessed in the love department.:lovestruc

Maybe. Would depend on a lot of things.

If I died, though, I hope my spouse would remarry if he found someone.

And I hope she'd be a much better wife than I've been.
