Would you ever purchase furniture online?

I've been looking for a particular sectional for awhile and just found one on ebay of all places. One of my friends has with the exact same layout and it'd work great in our family room, but I've never been able to find one like it. Here is the link to it, but I guess I'm just not sure how to tell the quality of it online. Quite honestly though, I'm not sure how to judge the quality in person either. I always know if I like the design and if it's comfortable to sit on, but as far as long lasting quality, I'm pretty clueless .

From Ebay, NO, probably not.

I haven't looked at your link, but with sectionals, you can order the pieces that you need (corners, center, ends,reclines, etc) to get the configuration that you need.

Nope I wouldn't buy it sight unseen from an EBAYer. I would buy from a bricks and mortar store where I can take any concerns I might have down the road with the piece.

I hate to disagree with everyone, but I've bought furniture on eBay before and got a great deal and we love it.

Then again, we collect mid-century furniture, so it is hard to find in a regular store anyway.

Just ask all kinds of questions and get a feel for your seller.

I have ordered NEW furniture off ebay and had good luck.
I have also bought two cars off ebay. One GREAT, the other, not so much.
You have to be careful.
Would I do it again? SURE would!

I bought from overstock, and I was happy with the purchase; however I must say that the color was a little different from how the picture displayed on my monitor. The wood wasn't as dark as I thought, but I still loved the chairs.

Personally, their feedback looks good, and if you pay by credit card via PayPal, you have a double layer of protection - It wouldn't bother me to purchase from them.
