Depends on what you want to do. Buffets and all-you-care-to-eat style or typical sit down table service restaurants.
The 50's Prime-Time Cafe is always fun IMO (kids get to see their parents get scolded for having their elbows on the table). The menu features some pretty good food and the portions are sized nicely.
Character breakfasts are good for guaranteed photo-ops with the charcaters. Personally I enjoyed the Chef Mickey's character breakfast myself. Buffet style with plenty of different choices.
Ohana's is an All-You-Care-To-Eat featuring skewers of pork, chicken, ribs, and steak. Maui Scalloped potatoes, appetizers of chicken wings & peel & eat shrimp. Dessert is a bread pudding with some kind of pineapple sauce. I really enjoyed Ohana's.
Since your DH is a big eater I'd stear clear of Cinderella's castle. Although the food is good the "bang for your buck" factor is less here than at other restaurants.
The Liberty Tree Tavern is another AYCTE featuring characters at dinner. Turkey & Ham, mashed taters, mac & cheese, and stuffing are the menu here.
Well that's my advice. Hope it helps.
