Would you drop a day or 2 from Disney for Universal?

I can't imagine not going to universal on any trip to Orlando!! With your kids the ages they are, I can't imagine them not enjoying a trip there! I say do it - arrive at the park early so that you will get a good start on the rides and enjoy your time!! I flipped over to the "dark" side a couple of years ago, and now must admit that I find the atmosphere and the rides to be far superior to Disney (JMHO). This way, if you find that it's not your cup o' tea, then you won't be wasting your time going in 2009....But, if you enjoy it, take a couple of days out of your next trip and book a hotel on site - well worth it and the experience on staying onsite is indescribable!!!
