Would you do Universal and Disney if only staying for 4 days?

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

I love Disney and I love Universal. We are only there for four days. I am wondering if I should split our stay between D and U so we can take advantage of FOTL. Or should I just do Disney?

Or how about just one day at SeaWorld and three days at Disney? This way I know that there's no need to stay at U onsight.

Am I doing a little too much for such less time? Please let me know what you think..Thanks!

I will post this also on Disney board.

I would split the time between Universal and WDW...We did this last year and somewhat this year on our upcoming long weekend.

Last year we did two days at WDW and one day at a Universal Park on two separate weekends during the year (We were not Power Pass Holders then).

I would do three at WDW and one day at Univesal Parks, or split it even if you rather spend more time at Universal...Have a wonderful trip now!!!.... :sunny:

I would do both mysef, and have been to both enough times to know what I can skip and must see, for 2 days each, I could pick and choose what i most want to do, wouldn't recommend it to anyone who is new to either parks, just to much to experience. Hope this helps. :flower:

Going back already, Fantasia? If I were going for just 4 days and I had just been there in February, I would stick to Disney. That's not enough time to change hotels for my taste. I might do a water park one of those days.

I'd split the stay. Stay onsite for one night, and even if you only do Universal for one day and WDW for three, you have FOTL to help see as much as possible in the single day. A bit crazy, but worth it IMHO...I couldn't go to Orlando without stopping at Universal...the thought is just...insane. If it's any help, when I had birthday trips, we couldn't afford staying onsite the whole trip, and would switch hotels even though the stays were only 4 days...but worth it.

I have split 4 days between the two parks. Always stay/visit WDW first. FOTL spoils you so much that you get mad at the Mouse and could go Goofy. We stayed at WL then PBH and had a great vacation.

When DW and I are taking a short trip (3 or 4 nights), we usually just stay at one destination. Last year, we managed two short trips, our May trip consisted of only the Disney parks and our October trip was a UO trip. If staying longer than 4 nights, I might try to hit both locations.

We chose not to split the hotel time because it cost more for us. Avg cost of hotel was $224 for Universal hotels, where Disney Moderate and Value are cheaper. We've gone to amusment parks and waited in 2-3 hour lines before and got everything done. However if cost is not a factor might as well
