Would you do high school all over again?

Sure, as long as I could go to the high school I was supposed to attend. The one I ended up at was a hole.

NOOOOOOOOOOO! I wouldn't do high school over if you paid me $1 million. It was a hard time, but I had my circle of friends and activities. There wouldn't be much I'd change.

I would probably do college over because I have a bunch of regrets about bad choices I made (and ultimately not finishing). But, if I didn't make the choices I did, I probably wouldn't have met DH and had DD, so in the end the bad choices and pain were worth it.

My first thought was no way. Than I thought Yeah I probably would. I would apply myself to my school work more. I would get involved in more school activities and keep in touch with more people.

The dilemma of course I have is that if I go back in time my life would be 100% different. At least I think. I would make huge changes of epic proportions.

Or it could turn out to be like "Peggy Sue Got Married", you are determined to be different and you cannot do it.

I would do it again, but at a different school, and it would have to be knowing what I know now.
I went to all girls private school and was taught mostly by nuns. Nothing against nuns, but the things that they "taught" us about life, mostly boys was a little off the hook. I found after 4 years at this school, once I went away to college, I needed to really make up for things, and got myself into a big of trouble, especially with boys!!

The only reason I wouldn't go back is that I love the life I have now. If I did things different would I end up where I am today with DH and DS??

In general, I liked HS. I remember that I was happy. I would probabably do a few things different but not much. I wasn't a social butterfly or queen on the prom but I always had friends and had boyfriends. Like most of you, my biggest regret is probably losing touch with people.

I don't know that I'd want to do high school over again. Nothing I really regret about it. College I'd be happy to do over again, that was a great time in my life, and if I had known to major in computer science then, I'd be rich now!

If you'd known to major in computer science, you'd be watching your job move to Bangalor right now Even DH's small company is doing this. Please don't have any regrets in this regard...software people are really taking the brunt of outsourcing to India

Absolutely!!! I LOVED highschool!!! It was so much fun, classes were easy for me and it was just a great time. I probably wouldn't want to change anything, because I wouldn't want to change where my life is now.

College - Never in a million years! I hated college!!!!

While I didn't have a bad highschool experience, it was just never my thing. I had good grades and was involved in activities every season, but my highschool was all about fashion and popularity and I didn't have time for that when I needed to be in class by 7:15. I made good friends in highschool, but I wouldn't want to be there again.

If I did do highschool over again, I would have done PSEO to get some of my college courses taken care of for FREE! I had the grades, but no transportation. My parents and I both agree now that I should have done it and they would have figured out how to get me to and from. Also, I would have dropped speed skating my senior year so that I could have trained more for my black belt test--that way I wouldn't have had to worry about it my freshman year in college.

I would only redo HS if I get to keep what I know now. Then I would not be so worried about what everyone else thinks. I would also be nicer to my Mom-sometimes.

High school was good for my confidence, I'd definitely do it again. I lucked out with a world-class boyfriend, my sports teams were awesome, and I built up enough academic momentum at the start to serve me well by the end. Regrets: I wish they'd started a lacrosse team a year earlier so I could've tried that my senior year. I wish it'd been a less stressful time for my mother/family, I think I might've had a purer enjoyment of the whole thing. And I wish I'd written my graduation speech a little differently, to be loftier or more clever than it was. I procrastinated too much on that and it suffered.

Nope, I would do college all over again. College was much better, more freedom, better classes, more open-minded people. I loved college!
