We have done the 3 day and 4 day, and plan on the 7 day in 2004. DH and I were talking last night about possibly going on a 3 day for our 15th anniversary (with kids!) this May. Though we both want to go, we are undecided if it is really worth the effort just for a long weekend. I can only get 2 days off work at that time of the year, so we can't extend it beyond a Thursday - Sunday trip.

What would you guys do? Would you bother with the trip all the way from MI, or just wait until the 2004 7-day? We do have a few other trips (WDW and non-WDW) planned between now and 2004. This trip would just be a special "bonus" trip!

It seems a long time to wait for the 7 day. After doing the 7 land and Sea this past June (our 15th anniv. with son) we decided to go with a 3 day next June. Since then we have added a day before and one after. Even though you can not swing the extra days, I'd still go. I find it hard to wait for June to come around lwt alone 2004! Go for It!!

If you can afford to go and really want to, then yes its worth it. 3 days on the ship are better than 3 days at home. ;)
We made a long weekend out of the July 4th holiday. We flew to WDW on Wed, then took the cruise on Thurs. This was a belated 30th bday present to me from DH, without the kids. It was sooooo worth it! Even if we didnt get that extra day before to spend at the Poly, I would have still thought it was worth it. We had a great time.
Good luck deciding and enjoy all your trips!

My vote would be to hold off. We have done a 4 and a 7 day, with a 3 day coming up in November. "Longer is much better" was the consensus at our house, even if we had to save up to do it...

(BTW: Our Nov 3 day is a leftover of last winter's $99/per person special. Now, that's a deal!)
