I have some real nice looking PorterHouse Steaks out for dinner tonight! We just love them on the gas grill. I am not crazy about cooking them in the oven. I am thinking of running out on the deck an tossing them on the grill. Suate some onions to put on the top!

Help me talk myself into cooking outside in the freezing cold. :chat:

the only way to have good steaks is to grill them!!!

go for it!! :hyper:

and yes I have cooked on the grill at 30 degrees :earsgirl:

We grill in all temperatures, and all weather. Blizzard, thunderstorm, sunny, doesn't matter. 30 is really a comfortable temperature when you're up close to the gast grill

First, do NOT waste good Porterhouse steaks in the oven! Second, bundle up and enjoy the opportunity to be outside for a few minutes. Third, sip a glass of your favorite libation while watching the steaks through the deck door/window. Finally, savor the steaks when done as nothing tastes as good as it does when grilled!

DO IT DO IT DO IT! Giggle

We grill year round! In fact, there have been several times we've grilled in 5-6 inches of snow. If you have a great steak, the only way to eat it is to grill it IMHO

:earsboy: Here in Vermont you don't have a choice.Winter's can last 6 months.Nothing like a good steak on the grill and seeing your breath as you cook.Make sure your platter is warmed up before you put your steaks on it.Otherwise they will cool right off.

:rotfl2: If we didn't use the grill when it is 30 degrees or below, we wouldn't use the grill 5 months out of the year! :flower:

I'd do it. Steaks never taste better than when they are cooked on the grill!

DO IT! I cook out all year round using charcoal (we can save that for another thread). I've cooked out in January in Alaska.

While I grill less in the Winter than in the Spring and Summer, steaks require a grill!

Not in Alaska but Yes! and we use charcoal for good steaks

We are die hard grillers here in Maine! Rain, snow, ice or 100 degrees, if it's meat, we grill it!

We grill year round too. I can't imagine having a steak any other way. Go fire up that BBQ, you won't be disappointed.

I have and have at even colder temperatures! I've shoveled to get to the grill too. Sometimes, you just got have a good steak and it must be grilled! Enjoy your steak tonight, you've just made me hungry!

Get on out there. I cooked out on our grill today already and the temp then was 26.

We grill all year round here in NY also and were just discussing this. We are putting on a big chicken on the rotisserie outside tomorrow and its only in the 30's here.
